As we wrap up 2011 and prepare for what 2012 is going to bring I wanted to share with you the 11 most popular posts I wrote in 2011. 

1. The Lowdown on Orly Gel FX:

After visiting the Spa and Beauty Expo, and getting the Orly Gel FX treatment, I wrapped up my experience in this post.

2. Mammoth Inglot Eyeshadow Review and Swatches

One of the first posts of the year, I swatched all 40 of my Inglot Eyeshadows in an epic marathon swatchathon. This was the result (and oh how my photography skills have improved since then!) 

3. Sugarpill Pressed Eyeshadows

Another swatchathon post, this one covering off the whole collection of Sugarpill pressed eyeshadows. This was my first swatch post. 

4. Schwarzkopf Extra Care Ultimate Repair Event

A surprisingly popular post covering off the launch party for Schwarzkopf's Extra Care Ultimate Repair range.

5. Who killed Laura Palmer

Another surprise hit for me. I had a series of complicated Halloween looks planned and due to illness wasn't able to complete them. This FOTD took me approximately 5 minutes and hopefully inspired a few halloween looks. 

6. Ice Queen Face of the Day

I loved this FOTD and was so happy to see it as one of the most popular posts of 2011. It was the first FOTD I did for my FOTD Challenge in May 2011. Hopefully you will be pleased to learn that the FOTD Challenge has had a makeover and will be back in 2012! 

7. Product Smackdown - NP Auto Pilot Primer vs FoA Face Base

In this post I pitted 2 of my all time favourite, holy grail face primers up against each other. One is more than 3 times the price of the other and you may be surprised at the results!

8. Geisha Face of the Day

Another entry in my FOTD challenge, this Geisha inspired look is the 8th most viewed post on Makeup by Sara-May this year. 

9. Theatre of the Nameless Face of the Day

Yet another FOTD post, this one was inspired by Illamasqua's recent "Theatre of the Nameless" collection. 

10. My experience with the Rae Morris brush collection

In this post I talked about one of my biggest lusts for 2011, the Rae Morris Brush Collection, and the opportunity I had to learn about and play with the brushes.

11. I was a BB Cream Virgin

In this post I talked about popping my BB Cream cherry with Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector. Apparently you all were interested in BB Creams as well, making this the 11th most popular post for 2011.
